Joseph Covino is a Los Angeles-based character actor from New York City whose repertoire includes dozens of off Broadway plays, as well as an impressive collection of films and television roles. His film catalogue includes independent, short, and feature length productions, as well as most recent Mini Series Production titled "Kingpins".

Joseph launched his career nearly two decades ago as a stand up comic. Performances at New York City comedy clubs: Caroline’s, Gotham, Dangerfield’s, and Don’t Tell Mama segued into sketch comedy performances, cementing his passion for both comedy and acting. He gained the opportunity to work with Anne Beatts, Emmy Award winning writer from the original cast of Saturday Night Live, and hone his skills as a versatile actor. Joseph then landed a breakout role as Barry in Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding, one of the most successful interactive off Broadway productions in history.

Joseph currently freelances with several agents and casting directors for a wide range of comedic and dramatic acting roles. He continually submits himself through breakdown services and trade magazines, and will always consider himself a journeyman actor. An avid hobbyist, Joseph also enjoys photography, videography, drawing, painting, and collecting art.

Joseph’s affinity for producing and directing cemented his firm belief that continually learning the art of what it takes to succeed on the other side of the camera is essential to becoming a better, more memorable screen actor.
